My name is Ian, and I am a high school student in California exploring international issues through the Global Scholars Program. I believe that understanding global trends accurately is the key to improving the world for everyone, as informed decision making can invoke needed change and avert preventable disasters.
I hope to take advantage of this mindset as I become a part of the next generation of global citizens. I am currently taking Spanish III and Globalization and Human Rights, and I plan to take International Relations, Spanish IV AP, and Meaning of Life courses next year. I also attended a school trip to Cuba in the spring of 2016. While visiting Havana and Viñales, I learned about a country that only just began to open up to the international community. http://polygipcuba.blogspot.com |
